Rochester 100® began in 1962 when Nicholas "Nicky" Sfikas set out to build a company based on hard work, innovation and taking care of customers. What started with two employees and a 700-square-foot loft has grown into a 100,000-square-foot manufacturing facility—still owned and operated in Rochester, New York.

Nicholas "Nicky" Sfikas establishes Rochester 100® in Rochester, NY with one heat-sealing machine, one vinyl-slitting machine, two employees and a 700-square-foot loft.
We grow our custom tooling and manufacturing capabilities, producing vinyl shop envelopes and other custom holders for industrial customers.
As technology evolves, we expand into CD holders, self-adhesive vinyl products, tag holders and other innovative solutions.
We begin researching ultrasonic welding technology and polypropylene materials, developing a patented method for welding polypropylene.
After testing polypropylene folders with schools and receiving overwhelming positive feedback, we launch NICKY’S® Folders—a better-quality alternative to traditional paper folders.
Today we operate from our 100,000-square-foot facility in Rochester, NY, manufacturing polypropylene folders and custom vinyl products for customers across the country.
